Office Manager

Great opportunity for someone with human resources or accounting experience to become an office manager for a growing, Probate, Estate Administration, and Estate planning AV-rated law firm in North Scottsdale.  We are seeking an Office Manager who is professional, organized, knowledgeable, dependable, who enjoys developing and implementing processes and procedures and working in a team environment.

Primary Job duties and responsibilities include:

  • Human Resources including:
    1. Staffing
    2. Employee supervision
    3. Annual reviews
    4. Implementing policies and procedures

  • Office Management and Operation including:
    1. Computer systems and software integration with outside vendors
    2. Front and back office oversight and supervision
    3. Managing of phone system and internet
    4. Addressing space planning needs and issues
  • Accounting and Billing:
    1. Posting receipts and disbursements into QuickBooks and Timeslips.
    2. Monitoring monthly billing and collections
    3. Annual budgeting
    4. Payroll
    5. Oversight of firm profit-sharing plan with outside advisors.
  • Organize and participate in firm projects and events

Job Requirements:

  • College degree
  • 5 years job experience in human resources or accounting (legal experience a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, QuickBooks and Timeslips.  Knowledge of Time Matters legal software would be a plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Self-starter
  • People-oriented individual with excellent judgment
